“I chose Gamma Phi Beta because they welcomed me with open arms from the beginning. I never saw myself joining a sorority in high school, but when I met several sisters, I knew that this is where I wanted to be. For me, GPhi has shown me that despite my background, I am still valued and loved. Regardless of what’s happened before us, the sisters are caring and welcoming. My favorite part of Gamma Phi Beta is our Athens retreat, where we get closer as sisters. Going Greek is one of the best decisions I’ve made and I’m so glad I chose to go Gamma Phi Beta!”

How did y’all become friends?
“We became friends through our Pi Chi group! We both bonded throughout recruitment and have stayed so close since! Going through recruitment together was so wonderful! We have been able to support one another since the beginning of our time at Kennesaw State!”

How have you kept the friendship strong?
“We have continued our friendship by making time for each other outside of our sororities! As members of Exec for both of our organizations, we have learned how to balance school, work, and hanging out! We will also invite each other to our different sororities’ events! It is such a great way to promote Pan Love! Violet is also a wonderful hostess and will invite her friends from many different organizations! She will plan the cutest events that give us another opportunity to catch up!“
